Centering

By centering yourself you can have a more present-day response in being with others, make deeper connections, and have the ability to stay open to more intense states of yourself and others.

The Core Breath exercise helps you to live and breathe in the core of your being - to find and breathe within the center of your head, chest, and pelvis. This can help you find a place of calm and stillness within yourself, no matter what is happening around you. The subtle vertical core of the body is experienced as your deepest connection with yourself, and your deepest perspective on the world around you. To live there feels disentangled from your surroundings and from other people, but not detached. You can still respond, even more deeply, but without getting entangled in habitual patterns of reaction.
